Nice Roots Farm’s first edition of our Summer Chef Series kicks off on Thursday, June 27 from 5:30-7:30pm! All are welcome to join Café Tinto founder Gisselle Poveda and Chef Daniela Garcia for a Colombian food cooking demonstration, recipe tasting and conversation.
Café Tinto’s recipes will highlight some of the organic produce grown at Nice Roots. Here’s what’s on the menu for June’s class:
1. Crostini – vegan ricotta cheese spread topped with sweet pineapple and fresh cucumber, finished with a balsamic reduction and basil oil. Basil and cucumbers harvested from Nice Roots Farm
2. Empanadas + Ensalada – white wine vinaigrette + seasonal spinach & kale mix
3. Fresas con crema – strawberries harvested from Nice Roots Farm
We’ll be announcing the featured chefs and dates for the July and August classes soon! Check back on the blog or follow us on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn for updates.
